Whip question (for the experts please)
Okay, I just have a simple question. Will leaving a leather bullwhip in a hot car damage it? Before any of you start to cringe, let me state that I've never done it for fear that it would damage and/or ruin my whip, but I was wondering if it was OK or not.
Thanks,

When I got my very first nice whip, I took it with me EVERYWHERE. At first I would always sneak it inside into the air conditioning at work with me during the day so it wouldn't sit in the hot car, but eventually I started leaving it out in the car and never saw any damage or negative reactions.
Now, when we take long trips or have some other reason to leave a whip in the car for a day, I don't worry about it at all. Just be sure though, like Boggstandard said, to keep it out of direct sunlight. Pillowcases are perfect!

That's so funny Lauren!! Infact that makes me feel better. I did the same thing when I got my Joe Strain about a year ago. I would put it in my lap top bag and bring it into the office, or anywhere else I went.....LemonLauren wrote:When I got my very first nice whip, I took it with me EVERYWHERE.
