I got a shipment from Todds costumes that I ordered in mid may last week, and though the hold up was frustrating, the gear was well worth the wait.
THE INDY SHIRT: I love it! I have owned several other indy shirts and this is is the best fit for the size the and the best value for the price range! I ordered a size medium and it fits my like a glove, I could not get a better fit if it was tailor made just for me.
And I think my strongest endorsement that I can make for Todds, is that I have been collecting gear for years, and never (even with the fedora) have I put on a piece of gear and felt like I was INSIDE of the world. Where I felt like Indiana Jones, but the shirt does that. I think the color looks right, it's excellently made, and it feels right. So this is my official statement that Todds is awesome, and I would certainly buy from them again.
THE DELUXE BAG STRAP: I have had a What Price Glory bag for years. And until now I had been using the strap that it came with: a thick leather, reddish, painted mess with a brash painted buckle. Needless to say, it was slightly embarrassing as my bag has become a daily accessory for me. However, I just received the Deluxe Bag Strap from Todds, and it's beautiful. The leather is a beautiful tone of brown. The strap is soft and does not hurt with extended wear. It's easy to install, and the silver buckle looks spot on Raiders. I wear it proudly and it has made my indy satchel, a much nicer addition to my wardrobe and my adventure gear collection.
I got a pair of gloves too, which I was much less impressed with. But I am looking to exchange them, and I am confident that Todds will deliver something SA enough for Indy and rugged enough for daily/adventure wear.
