Hi guys I'm new to the forum and I have been building up my Indy Raiders outfit and so far have
Fedora http://www.themovieshop.com
Jacket Wested goatskin
Shirt Army Surplus dutch army shirt (planning on getting a wested)
Bag MKVII from Endicotts
Pants Chinos from Marks and Spencer
Whip 6 ft fetish whip (modified to 10 ft)
I am planning on getting a holster of that auction site and was wondering if anyone has seen the gun that comes with the Rubies version, seems weird that every stock photo hides the main selling point for us Indy fans.
I also found this as an alternate gun (the holster ***** though )

Glad to be here

There's a good reason Rubies isn't showing the gun in the promotional photos:Indyfan U.K wrote:I am planning on getting a holster of that auction site and was wondering if anyone has seen the gun that comes with the Rubies version, seems weird that every stock photo hides the main selling point for us Indy fans.

Clearly, they weren't even trying to reproduce any of the sidearms seen in the films. This is the pistol J!m mentioned in his post above:

(Edit 08/06/08: Apparently, they've sold out of that model and removed it from their website.)
This Airsoft model is considered by many to be the closest match to Indy's Smith & Wesson HE2 from Raiders in that price range. The black plastic "foregrip" in front of the actual grip is easy to remove, and the "permanently colored in blaze orange" barrel tip (not shown in the photo) is nothing more than a plastic "plug" which can be easily removed as well (if desired). With a little creative "weathering" and the addition of a lanyard ring (as seen in this thread: viewtopic.php?t=31637), it can look quite a bit closer.

Wow. I was expecting bad, But I wasn't expecting REALLY BAD.Zombie Jones wrote:There's a good reason Rubies isn't showing the gun in the promotional photos:
I have to agree that the airsoft model that several of the members here have purchased
and modified to resemble Indy's Raiders pistol have turned out very nice. I'd stay far, far
away from the Rubies version - I've seen squirt guns that look more realistic than that!

I think I will get a real revolver, and if I don't have my permit in place by then (but I should), I will have it de-commisioned to make it easier to carr across (state) borders...
