Good Raiders holster?

Post by IndianaBogart »

I had been thinking about getting a new holster to replace the close-enough one that I've had forever, and was going to get one of Todds basic Raiders holsters. However, they are sold out until at least September from what I have heard. So I what I'm wondering is who else makes good (but affordable) Raiders holsters.

Look over some auctions, there are some original WW1 British Officers Webley Holsters sometimes. I would go for one in good condition.

I don't really know if there's a better deal out there than Todd's basic model.
Like Andymac84 advised, I'd check auctions and the Bazaar here - somebody
has gotta be selling some holsters there. If you're pretty good with your hands,
you could even try making your own. Somewhere around here are patterns for
the Raiders holster. I'm not sure what leather in general is going for these days,
but I think you could probobly get everything you need for about $20.00 bucks,
or so? Just a thought. :junior:

Just an FYI--Todd's site now says the basic holsters are due to arrive July 25th, with the proviso "Subject to change without notice." Time will tell. I preordered one, because my leatherworking skills are amateurish at best.

Solent is right, to create a own holster would be really nice, huh? The correct shape for the form of it was posted a few weeks from now... Let's see if we could dig this up..
