My ultimate Raven Bar hat...With pics!

Post by FordPerfect »

This is only my second hat - and after much researching and soul-searching (not to mention bashing, prodding & curling) I think it will be my last.
I also think this is a rare beast - A Lee Keppler finished (re-blocked, sweatbanded and ribboned) by AB, so I guess you could call this a Kepplerbilt. Either way I think it compares favorably with the screen Raven Bar lid. It has a significant turn and the felt is pretty hard so the swoop needs little maintenance. Take a look...

Nice hat. Steve does great work. A would call it a Adventurebilt with a Keppler felt.

Very nice. Looks like all of your research and styling efforts were worth it.

That's one nice looking hat. I've been debating whether to get a Streets of Cairo or Raven Bar bash for my future AB purchase. You only further aid my conundrum. Lol!

Actually I was thinking it would look like an SOC dead ringer if it was dirty, not so much the Raven's Bar hat. The Raven's Bar seems to have more roundness at the top, more noticeably tapered, and less boxy. Haha, either way, killer Raiders hat.

That looks great! Maybe I'll have Steve do that for my Keppler, only keep it a Kipu Falls bash. I thought Seve was only doing AB reblocks now, though.

It'll always be a Keppler, but with an AB touch.

That's one of the nicest lids I've ever seen, hands down. I can totally see why this is your LAST hat. It'd be mine, too.

So I guess Steve is reblocking other hats again. I want to send my Keppler now!
