Interesting Notebooks...

Found these while searching for a suitable Ark/Maproom Diary. While not really props, could make a decent stuffer for your MKVII...

Ah memories. I used to use these in my surveying days.

the graphed paper is a nice touch, but I'm more partial to a more sturdy cover(cloth-covered cardboard or stiffened leather) for a field notebook for durability purposes.

Those are pretty cool and the price is right. I might pick up some of those. Thanks for the link.

Magnoli has some offerings that are Indy specific.

Moleskine makes a model with graph paper. I'm going to check into these field books though because I like having different notebooks for different things.

I just got in my 3 "Field Notes" notbooks. They're really cool and definitely have that vintage look. They threw in a small calendar, pencil and pen too. Nice people to deal with, very practical product and it'll look right at home in a MK VII bag too.

Highly recommended.

It only took a few days. It came first class mail in a small padded envelope.

yeah, i've looked at those. Magnoli's stuff is great(under $500 for a custom suit is an absolute steal), but i think his journals are WAY over-priced. Hand-stitched or not, $43 for a paper-cover journal is just out of the question AFAIC, even if it it Raiders SA. When i finally get around to making a custom Grail Diary, i'll probably get the blank Professor's Diary from Magnoli, but for a more generic field journal, I'd just as soon make it myself.

Yeah I just got his Raiders journal and the price is steep for what it is. It's not really screen accurate eiher, it's alot nicer than in the film but thicker and better made. I like it though. Next time I'll re-cover a store bought journal.

here's another interesting notebook, this one from CafePress.
I posted this in the Grail Diary section as a bit of a joke. Tough crowd over there. Maybe it'll get a laugh here.
