My First David Morgan Whip

Post by mwells »

Well I ordered a David Morgan 8 foot whip yesterday. I really wanted the Jaka whip from the new film but with the huge price increase I decided to go with the original. David recommended a 8 foot since I have never used a whip before I will post pics when it arrives now I just have to wait :)

Congrats! I got my 10 footer at 7pm opening night...took me 6 weeks to the day to get it. I still have yet too crack it because of the weather around here, etc.

Congrats to both of you, JediDentist and MWells! You're now in the club.

I jest, but a Morgan is oh, so nice.

MWells, didn't I buy a screen used X2 Deathstrike t-shirt from you on the RPF some years back?

10 weeks?!? Whew! It's going to be painful, but I promise you that it will be worth it the moment your hand curls around that distinctively-shaped turkshead knot, and the power of Indy's trademark weapon will be at your disposal. Soooo worth it. :D

Yes I have been lurking on here and the rpf and the movie prop forum since they started. For whatever reason I had to resign up here maybe because I had not posted in awhile but I have been on all three forums since the beginning like since 99 or 2000. :)

Congrats, mwells! You're gonna dig on that whip. Received mine at the
end of March ( a ten-footer ) Makes my old whip look like a junkyard dog
by comparison! Sorry ya' gotta wait so long for it - word is, David's shop
is swamped with orders right now, hence the long wait time. :junior:
