Any leads on MotB-style scarf or cardigan? Color of scarf?

Bags, Boots, Shirts and all other gear should be discussed here.

Any leads on MotB-style scarf or cardigan? Color of scarf?

Post by PropReplicator »

Well, Fall and Winter are fast approaching, so I sat down and treated my Wested yesterday and began thinking again about scarves and cardigans. :D

Has there been any update on the search for a good "off-the-shelf" cardigan or scarf replica from MotB?

Personally, I think the scarf my be a Korean War-era wool Army scarf. I remember seeing someone wear one almost identical to it on a M*A*S*H episode. I've also seen some Cashmere scarves on E-bay that are EXTREMELY close, they even have the tassles. I can't seem to find the right color, though. What would you say the color is of Harrison's scarf in the pic below? I'm a touch color-blind and don't do really well with subtle colors. :(

This is what I use during those cold November and December football playoff games. It is not the exact color, but it is close. The picture came out darker than the actual scarf.

I'm wondering if there's a site or three that has Indyesque scarves? Any suggestions?

I have a sweatere VERY similar to this one, but it's black and from the 1920's. It's very warm, too!

A scarf to match the cardigan, or the jacket? Actually, the roll collar on my sweater is high enough that I don't need a scarf! But that being said, I don't have an "Indy" scarf that I can think of off the top of my head, but that's not saying I don't have one that works!

I'd like one to match the jacket. So, I thought some gearheads may chime in and give some details as to what they have and where they got it.
