My Wested LC (pics).

(Don't be put off by 'image does not exist' just scroll down)
This attachment contains four shots of my jacket.
This is a standard Wested LC in authentic brown lambskin (size 40R).
It has undergone a great deal of self distressing and color change, the system of which, I shall be discussing at a later date at the appropriate catagory.
Although the jacket looks quite good at present, upon receiving it, I must confess to being rather disappointed with the color, weight and leather quality. It seemed somehow sinthetic to me, and I regret not ordering a regular lambskin, but I've got it looking pretty good now, so, s'cool!
One or two of you experts might point out that it's a little too long in the body - about 1 1/2" I'd say.
Cheers all,
JTW.

Your jacket is looking really good. It may be little long as you pointed out, but it is not bad by any means. I think a good judge of length for the Last Crusade jacket is a comparrison of where the jacket lies in relation to your back pants pocket flaps. The scenes on the beach with the birds has some good reference. Really sharp jacket, and nice weathering. Enjoy it.

Thanks once again,
it is very much appreciated.
On this forum, one strides to be as accurate as possible, especially when posting pics. To be honest, it's taken about 5 months of careful distressing, to get the jacket to look reasonable.
I think the secret is to know exactly what you want before you begin, and, like an artist working on a canvas, you have to know when enough is enough.
If you trust your decision making skills, you will instinctively know when that time comes. GO FOR IT!!

I have to agree with the above comments - the jacket and distressing look fantastic! It looks like the jacket I wished I got when I ordered my first Wested over ten years ago. I too am a very big fan of the LC jacket/gear. Hopefully you can post some info about the distressing process soon? Cheers!
