Ordered my AB 1/24/08, I got a KOTCS block, with Raiders styling, hopefully Raven bar bash, I may have to send Steve an e-mail once things die down after the movie is out. I am sure he probably going to see it sometime this week. I think I am going to order a grey in KOTCS styling and that will be it for now.

IndyBlues wrote:I wanted to start a thread, so that everyone that is waiting on an AB, or multible AB's, could post here, so we could get an idea of the average length of time since you have ordered an Adventurebilt Fedora.

Maybe we can update the top post, in chronological order. This way, Steve can stop in and check what and when everyone here has ordered a hat. maybe you sent a hat for repair/reblock. if so, post that too.
Let's see where we're at in the list.

I'll start.

I was told I would be getting a replacement hat for a mis-cut brim that I received last year. The date was, April 30th, 2007.

So if you could, just give a summary of what you ordered, and post your name and date that you ordered, like so:

IndyBlues 4/30/2007

That way, I can cut and paste the dates and orders into this first post.
Thanks in advance.

Jeff, thanks for posting your info that way. Saves me tons of time organizing the info myself.

If the rest of you folks that add to this post could follow this formula, it would be greatly appreciated.

jeff - CS Bash - same as HF's size (7 1/4?) - 9/13/07

"name - type of bash - size - date ordered"

Thanks in advance

According to a post by Fedora in another thread, he made Ford's hats size 7 3/8.

This does not bode well. That puts Steve's work still mired in early June orders. If he ships out as often as he claims, he hasn't made a COW member's hat in 3 or 4 weeks! That stings.

I added you to the list, but I'm curious. You ordered a CS bash way back in february, before we knew what the name of the film was? Did you order it and then change the bash later?

So turn those frowns upside down cause it looks like his shipping hats. :) Hopefully more will be chiming in with there good news as well.
I'll post pics first chance but it's to late now for me go through it all so be patient.
Oh and by the way it's awsome, just love it. Proud to be an owner of three AB's, 2) Beaver and 1) Rabbit.

I was hoping I could add my order date and received date in the same post. Unfortunately, I am still waiting for that white box on my front porch :(. It shouldn't be too much longer though \:D/.

Ya when I opened my CS bash the front brim was sorta flat and I want to tweak it donward like one of the hats in the movie. How are you tweaking yours, w/water mist or another way.
Now to decide to wear it oruse as my dress lid. :D

I use water in a spray bottle.
Now to decide to wear it oruse as my dress lid.
Same decision for me. After the long wait, I'm leaning toward just wearing it for special occasions.

Hey thanks, I was thinking the spray bottle method as well, I'm going to use "bottled water".
