Who is the best for leather works (not jacket)?

Bags, Boots, Shirts and all other gear should be discussed here.

Who is the best for leather works (not jacket)?

Post by redsleighdown »

Hey guys, I've been doin tons of research and have almost completed what I believe to be a great set of indy gear but I've got a few more items that I want some advice on.

Bag straps: Who do you all think is the best for Raiders, and also who is the best for CS?

Gunbelts: same question. (if they even vary per movie) I hear AB is maybe working on one?

Whip holder: again, same question.

Holster: I've got a superb raiders holster from AB, but what about a CS holster? Any good makers?

And finally, I know its not leather, but what about web belt buckles, what exactly am I looking for to be the most SA (for raiders and CS)

My main concern is I would like these items to be as (I know some hate this term but) SA as possible. Thanks in advance for the help!

Well my friend, I'll tell you this: what you are looking for is leather gear from Noel Howard. This is as accurate as you can get. His bagstrap is the color you see on screen, his buckles may run a bit big but easily replaced. I cannot speak for his gunbelt as I don't have that but it looks like this is the best thing too. But they are the most accurate leather works out there IMO.

Hope this helps you.

edit this is all for raiders gear ofcourse. I have no ieda who would be for CS.

I would go to Lee Keppler. He make a belt w/ attached holder that is on the money for Raiders. He and Noel are great guys to deal with, but NH does travel a lot for work, and can be hard to get a hold of.
Good luck on your quest!!
