Coming soon to a holster near you... LC/KOTCS Webley!
Moderator: Cajunkraut
This replica looks amazing? Guess I'm way too late for the first run. Could I be added to the second run. I'm happy to send you the paypal whenever!
I'm in the UK and would like Light Weathered - Drilled, brass sight . Would love a plaque as well (just gotta hope you are gonna make more!)
I'll send you a PM to see my chances

Sorry for not responding sooner everyone.
Been struck down by some bug causing 102+ degree tempratures.
Technically, I shouldn't even be on the computer now...
Here's a (poor quality) picture of what the markered over brass front sight looks like. Honestly, I think it looks pretty good in reality. You get a hint of the "brass" depending on how the light hits it.
I'll be accepting payments pretty quick for the first 9 on the list since those guns are done (except for Crowe's. Sorry mate, the bug hit when I was working on yours!)

I'll take a plaque/stand.
Can we customize what it will say? I like:

The first 27 guns are "limited" insofar as they have the Club Obi Wan numbering. The plaques will be printed to reflect this fact as well.redsleighdown wrote:I'll take a plaque/stand.

If I need custom plaques done with different wording and such, the cost jumps to $15.50 per plaque. Keep in mind I'm not making any money on the plaques. I'm just offering them through the services of another vendor. He's the one who's doing the printing work on them.

Indy Crowe's kit is FINALLY done! Yay!
I should be hearing back from the Plaque guy in a day or so.
I may just ship the pistols out and send the plaques afterwards so you guys don't have to wait any further.
Sorry about the delays everyone!
UPDATE:
I have #10 & 11 in the raw, and I'm hoping to get up to #15/16 by tomorrow night. Being gone visiting family really put a big crimp in my production schedule last week.
Not to mention catching up on a week's worth of unread e-mail. I think I'm up to day number 4 now.

Got a pic of the plaques today...
This is only a few of them, but I think they look real nice.

I'm "hoping" this Saturday. Possibly early next week if it misses the Saturday delivery.
The plaque stands have been ordered and should be here in a day or two. The first two I ordered as a test arrived pretty quick.
Also, I have the next 12 guns almost ready for sanding and painting. I spent a few hours today drilling all the holes and trimming all the flashing where there was some.. I also found a smaller diameter brass rod for the lanyard loop locking pin, so I'm eager to try that out.

Also, here's a little tidbit on opening the gun. Grab it by the barrel, with
your fingers resting in the grooves on the underside of the barrel. Put
your thumb on top of the barrel above the cylinder. Release the lever
with your right thumb and gently twist the two halves open.
DO NOT JUST GRAB THE BARREL AND OPEN IT!
There's a reason I said it so loud. By grasping closer to the hinge you're
putting less of a strain on the barrel itself, and in turn the hinge. It's a
simple lever after all. If you look at the scene on the beach in the LC,
("Let my armies be the trees, the rocks and the birds in the sky...")
you'll see indy grab his own pistol that high up, near the hinge. Again,
with this pistol (the resin one) it will put less stress on the gun and reduce
the risk of damage.

Check out Cairo Bazaar - Rook has a cursed one all ready too go.MacFett wrote:Is it too late to get in on this?
I know I may not get one of the original 27. But, I would be interested in one. Even if it's one of the unfinished provided there is a color guide to come with it.BTW, fantastic workmanship.

What's up with the "cursed" one anyway.Rook wrote:There's a sale pending on the cursed one. If the guy would just get back to me...
Macfett, I can add you to the list. In time.
Russ
As to the "In time", that's fine. I'm out of the country until after the Indy IV opening anyway.
Just let me know.
Thanks

Look in the Cairo Bazzar section. The whole scary story is there .What's up with the "cursed" one anyway.
Update: I have all the grip sections for #10-21 drilled and sanded. Took 3 hours to wet sand the grips.
Going to start drilling the barrels after a bit. Shouldn't take too long since I've been working assembly line style which is MUCH faster than how I did the first 9 pistols.
