The Browning didn't have a holster. Where Indy kept it has been a subject of some debate for several years, with people suggesting places like his jacket pocket and the gas mask bag.

Not sure about the cheap browning replica though. You might try airsoft - they may have one. :junior: -M

If you want an "Indy-ish" holster for the HiPower just pick up a WWI/WWII-era military holster for the 1911. It will fit just fine.

Not to get off topic , but I say he carried the HP in his jacket 'cause he didn't have his bag in the Raven scene. Anyway, carry on...

Here's a holster,
www.pacificcanvasandleather.com/holsters/pcl_16.htm

As far as the Hi-Power,good luck. You may find a new Charles Daly clone
at CDNN if they still have them.Your best bet is a used FM or FEG.

New Browning's are limited and expensive, the FN's are not being shipped
here anymore from what I have heard and used Browning/FN's are being
picked over by collectors.

Good link.

Below is the 1916 US version.

You can find authentic used holsters cheap on eBay, if you plan on distressing the thing, just pay less and buy one with the real deal already done.

Boink,

Those look like Colt 1911 .45 ACP replicas (the top one, without the checked grips looks like the 8mm blank pistol).

BTW...speaking of where the Browning came from, here's a hypothesis...

Is it likely to think that Toht left one man standing guard outside the Raven...and Indy took care of him, and relieved him of his pistol...which happened to be the Browning?

Yes they are a 45 ACP Auto, designed by John Browning. These replicas are made by Dennix.
I was not sure if this was the right gun. So is the SA version a Browing 9mm? Sorry if this has been covered before.

Even long before I wanted one for an Indy prop I've been looking for a Browning Hi-Power replica. For some reason they're just not very popular with replica gun makers, so there are very few options out there and I've not found anything under $150.

Your two best substitutes would be the already mentioned and shown Colt 1911 and perhaps a CZ-75.

Tanaka airsoft makes a great looking Browning Hi-Power, but they're about $180.
