If I were you, I'd give the brim a bit more of an upward curl on the sides. Otherwise, looks great. Good job on a first try. :junior: -IJ

Thanks for the welcome guys (and or gals), Indiana Jones, good advice, I've actually tinkered with it since taking those photos a few weeks ago. As I watch the films I get more ideas for what to do with the hat.

Love the piggy-bank. Welcome to COW! ;) (Nice hat, too. But really, put it on and they won't tease you so much. :D)

If he puts on the piggy bank we'll tease him, though. Welcome aboard!

Indiana MarkVII, Indiana Jerry, & DanielJones,

There's a few (8 pics) semi-action pics on this thread:

Yeah, the Akubra is a good hat to start with, or even stay with. They can take a lot of abuse. I agree with IJ though, a little upward curl on the sides and it would be just right. The bash loooks great though.

A few more pics since I've been tinkering with the hat some more. Although the colors are muted in the images I'm pleased with the soft lighting effect of placing the hat in front of some venetian blinds that were twisted completely shut and slightly raised up from the bottom (I guess that made sense). Fuller's dust also helps highlight the bashing of the hat.
