Streching a Fedora

How do you strech or widen a brim on a fedora. Since The One I have is a little snug

To make a hat fit better I would use one of these [Hat Jack]

As to widen the brim... you would have to have it re-blocked and you would lose some height in the crown.

The style I have is made of plastic- the wooden ones that I found were all tapered. Cost around $20.00 at the local western supply store. Currently I have it working on my new AB, which is slightly too small. I have used them in the past on all variety of hats, from vintage (a Stetson Stratoliner that I was able to stretch one size up), to modern, to western. The things work great...

Cheers,

RC
