For those of you looking for a lanyard disc to make your own bag, spice up your WPG replica or mearly need a new one after being dragged behind a truck -this will probably help.
The 58 pattern respirator bag for the S6 respirator have them!
I'll let you know when I stumble upon a source. They aren't that hard to find though and I know I've seen these bags for around $5.
I don't have one in person but these pictures convinced med that they must be the very same piece of hardware. What do you think?
And there is no 'April fools' thing going on with this post. Honestly.
I got a PM with a question if I have found any yet. Thruth is I haven't been looking.
I googled S6 respirator bag and found lots of them, though I'm not sure all of them have the disk.
Be sure to ask if they have the disk before buying and ask for Pattern 58 ones.
The bag was initially worn across the chest. You'll notice the opposite side of your bag has a little pocket on the outside with a small grommet. A string would fit through that grommet which you would wrap around yourself, bringing the bag closer to your chest. You would then wrap the string around the lanyard disc to keep the bag in place. Did I get that right, Swindy?

Swindy, did you change that from your original description, or did I just miss that the first time around? Regardless, I still figured it out from looking at the bag. I may not be a total bag geek yet, but I have my moments.
