Where can I buy shirt-colored fabric?

Bags, Boots, Shirts and all other gear should be discussed here.

Where can I buy shirt-colored fabric?

Post by Repairman Jack »

Hi, all...
My girlfriend's mother has offered to make me an Indy shirt, provided I can obtain the fabric. However, a visit to the local fabric shop made me realize just how incompetent I am in this area (trying to discern between beachwood, tumbleweed and parchement colored cloth nearly made me go blind!). I was wondering if anyone could provide an online source for shirt fabric, or even tell me what color and material I should be looking for.
Thank you,
RJ

Maybe you could try finding out the material first, get it in white, and then dye it after the shirts finished. If you can find the right dye, that is. Hope this helps a little. (ps, I'm no expert, but I'd suggest the fabric you find most comfortable that looks convincing)

yup get all cotton.

Would you wash it first so it doesn't shrink?
