Suprise box found in back of closet

Post by thePawn »

At 38 I must be becoming senile. I was looking for something in my closet when I saw a hat box tucked way in the back. When I took it down, to my suprise, I found a brand new Optimo fedora still wrapped neatly in the box. The receipt was also in the box showing that I purchased the hat back in January 2004! The hat has never been worn and I don't even remember ordering it.

For those of you looking for a great LC Venice bash hat, this is it. The quality of the felt is very soft and is spot on for the LC bash or a great dress hat.

Anyone else order an Optimo lately?

I'll take some tonight and post them tomorrow. My girlfriend says "no more hats, as you cant remember ordering the old ones." Do you think I should tell her about my two AB's, or just switch them out every now and then. lol

  Great story, Pawn. I almost think losing the hat for 3 years would be worth it, just for the surprise of finding a brand new Optimo in your closet. :junior: -IJ

Nah. Don't lie to your wife. You do what you want and tell her the truth. If she doesn't like it she'll get over it.

Please keep in mind that threads have headed in this direction before and have always gotten out of hand, so kindly try to keep on track with this one. Now about that Optimo... is it a 7 1/4? If so, I think I accidentally left it in your closet. 8-[

There once was a deputy named Fife, he carried a gun and a knife, the knife was all rusty and the gun was all dusty 'cause he never caught a crook in his life.

I like the knife rusty because when I slice you, the tetanus sets in quicker.
