The Fedora Store

Post by Mark Brody »

Has anyone heard anything about a place called The Fedora Store? I searched the forum and didn't find anything on them, but the hats look pretty good from the website. Does anyone have experience with this?

From what I've seen, the Fedora Store has some good hats, but it also has some pretty bad, wool felt hats as well. I'm not saying don't buy from them, but, as always, caveat emptor. :junior: -IJ

The design-a-hat thing is fun, although I'd like a picture of what you've designed to be shown as you go along. I like that you can, for example, choose felt stiffness, although of course, you can't be sure they actually deliver on the designs you've requested until we hear from a customer.

I also believe that Dr. Jones would have instilled far more fear had he worn this hat. It says it's a man's hat. Is that right? Really? It even talks about schoolgirl bows and stuff. :?

Well it actually says "D1603 Legacy Red Flat Top Crown, 2-1/4 inch pencil curl brim with bound edge and matching 12 Ligne Ribbon with School Boy Bow" Any boy who wears this to school is begging to get the snot beat out of them.

If you click on the thumbnail for a larger view, you will see it also says "school girl".

But yes, either way that hat really would be asking for trouble.

The guy who runs the Fedora Store is on the Fedora Lounge - nice enough. Anyway, if you contact him, he might be able to direct you to some of him clients on the FL. I've seen a few pics of some nice stuff sold by him. Personally, I've never bought a hat from him, though.
