I've mentioned this hat in other posts, but this is the first time I've gotten decent pics of it. It is a Stetson Downs that I got on eBay some years ago. The brim was really crooked, and got worse as time went by. So, I did my first Indy brim experimentation on it, using cold water. I also tightened the pinch. I thought it was high-time I shared this odd little creation with the Club.

What did you start with; about a 5 inch open crown? Reminds me of my Royal Deluxe.

Unfortunately, I did not have a camera when I first bought the hat, so no "befores".

The Downs comes as a snap brim with a low c-crown and wide front pinch. Here's a link of what it should look like new.

i like the unique crown. chewie...does tht teardrop give you wierd hat hair?

No, but I don't have much hair to work with! I keep it very short.
