Unfortunately, I did not have a camera when I first bought the hat, so no "befores".
The Downs comes as a snap brim with a low c-crown and wide front pinch. Here's a link of what it should look like new.

i like the unique crown. chewie...does tht teardrop give you wierd hat hair?

No, but I don't have much hair to work with! I keep it very short.
