I became an Indy-fan when I was about 12 (now I'm 25). From the beginning I always wanted such a jacket but at the age of 12 I had no idea where to get one. But I startet loving and wearing leather jackets (in the beginning imitation leather since I was a teenager and was not able to afford real leather).
My first piece of gear was the Mark VII, because it is fairly affordable and you can use it every day (and you know... women always need hand-bags 8) ). Or was it the elsa-lighter? I think this was my second piece (not really gear, it's more like a prop, isn't it?) because I'm a smoker and thought this was another piece I could really use (and I do).
But there was still this jacket which I got about 1,5 years ago (Wested lambskin auth. brown).

Getting hooked... very dangerous  . About 2 years ago I said that I would never dress like Indy. And once again I learned: Never say never.

I had bought the Stetson Temple hat in 1984. Then in 2003, I upgraded to a PB and bought Aldens that same year. Now have the jacket, pants (Wested) and shirt (fan made) and three MKVIIs. Still working on the whip  I find that birthdays and Christmas were the best for Indy gear. :)

Cheers,
Jeff
