Colt M1917 from ToD

Post by Ben »

OK people I've found a Colt M1917 "police positive" in my local gunsmiths (deac) Year Of De-act: 1996 "Spec A"

if anyone is interested I can purchase it and have it sent toy whome ever wants it.

only problem is it is about £370, but it is a lovely piece, and in very good condition, with all the relavant documents.

pictures can be found easyly on google images :D

unfortunatly, due to the legislation in england you can't buy live fire armes, only shotguns and hunting rifels.

that really is unfortunate i can remember when i was 5 going out shooting with my dad for the first time. got my first rifle, a .22 bolt action scaled perfectly for a little kid, and also got to shoot my dads .22 revolver and .22 berretta auto. it was a fun day. heck these days when i go camping i normally have my 1911 on my hip in a rather indyesque flap holster. i'm considering getting one of the new smiths as my new camp gun.
