Ha!!! I think it's just the loose fitting baseball shirt in that first pic. I've weighed around 195 for the last ten years. Thanks though.Looks like you lost some weight too! Good for you!!
Thanks!!Longtime, no see, my friend. That AB is looking as good as ever!
Prairie? You've been standing in that same spot for almost a year!? I've heard of slow-cooking a steak but.....8 months?
I thought the color difference between sunny and cloudy was interesting.

These aren't the "best" Grillbilt" pics, but my wife snapped this last evening and it shows the "humps" very well. As an early member of the forum, I always loved pictures that displayed the humps. So here is a good one. I am also very happy that I have been able to keep this thread alive with these pics. Reminds me that I do "wear" my hat.

I was out cooking some hamburgers the other day, and Mrs. Bufflehead was outside taking some pictures. She took a couple of shots of me wearing my AB while I was cooking. I immediately thought of Prairie Jones and his yearly Grillbilt photos. So, here is my ode to Prairie Jones.
In this one, you can see a couple of members of my fan club that had been gathering, wanting to know when dinner was going to be ready.
I hate that I got caught wearing a brown fedora with blue clothes, but this was about a week before my seaplane gray AB arrived. I will never be caught making that fashion faux pas again.

Hey, she only wanted one. That left two for me.
Also, thanks about the deck. I do enjoy cooking and eating out there. If you go through that gate on the corner of the bar, there is a sunken hot tub in there. With my bad back bothering me so much lately, I have been spending a bunch of time in there. I can't bring myself to wear my AB in there, that close to so much steam and hot water.
Tone, thanks for the compliment on the AB. Coming from a fedora connoisseur such as you, that means a lot.Indiana_Tone wrote:Bufflehead, the AB looks great, of course, but that deck looks like a great place to enjoy a few burgers!

Are you talking about wheeling the grill down to the summit? If you are, then, heck no! GraveRobber and I both have bad backs. We like to died gettin' that thing up on the deck in the first place.Indiana_Tone wrote: So you're sticking with the "only had two" story, huh?

Curator Rick, are you watching this?
I did have three gas grills and a charcoal grill. But, my daughter is getting married at the end of the month, and I gave one of the gas grills to them.
Speaking of my daughter, they just bought a house and recently started moving things in. I was over there helping them get things fixed up last night.
My daughter has a huge armoire. While they were moving in, my daughter called me and told me it was too big to go upstairs to the bedroom. It wouldn't fit up the stairs. I asked her what she was going to do about it, and she said she didn't know, Mikey would figure something out.
Well, as I turned onto their street, I couldn't believe the solution. There was a firetruck in the yard and they used it to lift the armoire up to the deck on the second story and then took it through the door into the second floor bedroom.

Perhaps I misunderstood G.Gordon Liddy when he mentioned the "no brown" with blue suits, I think he was refering to formal events such as the meetings with the 'crats, and the formal travel Indy was engaged in when he was seen off at the sea plane. Anyhow, I confess, I have worn similar mixtures of brown, blue, desert camo and black at semi-formal meetings. I just didn't won't to show up at a job interview with my brown HJ, brown wingtips, and belt, with my freshly pressed dark blue double-breasted suit on; looking like a hayseed. regards hanson.

Yeah, Strider, it already is down here in TN. Since I live on Center Hill Lake, and MY porch is screened in, I like to grill out in my fedora, Aldens, and my British army boxer-briefs. If it's not too hot like Michaelson's 105 and 106 heat index reports. In that case, I justs have the hat to fan myself.lol. hanson

Well technically, you would be screen accurate. It was so hot on the zeppelin set, that Harrison Ford and Sean Connery filmed the scene sitting at the table with no pants on, in Last Crusade.hanson wrote:Since I live on Center Hill Lake, and MY porch is screened in, I like to grill out in my fedora, Aldens, and my British army boxer-briefs. I'm glad they haven't shown behind the scenes footage of that. We would have lost Canyon on that one.
