The best priced close-enough pants since Dillards Oak Creek

Post by inexpensive_jones »

I was disappointed when I missed out on the Dillard's Oak Creek deal.
There isn't a Dillards anywhere near here and they won't take orders for shipping closeout items.
As Inexpensive Jones I am committed to finding the most bang for the buck, so check out these bad boys I picked up for under $15!

I picked them up at a discount store that has about 9 more pair.
If you guys want them I'll buy them all and send the savings on.
Here are the specs
New 100% Cotton Chinos made in France
khaki color
Pleated, back pocket flaps, and button fly.
Mostly size 34 waiste
There is plenty of hem to let down to get a 34 inseam for me.
Other sizes were larger, somewhere in the 40s, I'll take inventory tomorrow when I stop by again.
Let me know soon if interested.

If those were taupe, they would truly be a home run.

what's the diff. between khaki and taupe? I know there should be a difference, but with the labeling some manufacturers do, it's become subjective.

Taupe is darker and tends to run more of a greyish brown and shades there of.

the color of these aren't as khaki as my cargo khakis by wrangler. They are less on the greenish-tan side and more toward the tanish-brown.

Those are great pants. I love the button-fly. They look very military. Are they high-waisted? They look very military.

Taupe is close to gray, by the way.

Trust a man with the name Inexpensive Jones to find what looks like a great deal. I'm interested in a size 34 if you would pick up a pair for me. Just let me know how you would like to handle the shipping etc. It looks like you have chosen very wisely. I love the button-fly too.

Here's what they have left.
about 6 of the 34W 32L
2 of a 45W
and 2 of a 46W
I think they are a military pants because they have no brand name
anywhere on them.

I would also be very interested in a pair of the 34,32s. Did you say that they had toom to be let down to a 34?

What happned to the pictures? I can't see them. I might be interested in 34s with lots of hem (I'm generally about 33x33-34 really).

Is this a big discount store (K-mart or something) or something just you have locally?)

BTW, I just put up a pair of Oak Creeks that are 32x34 in the for sale section. (and some other paint)

I can't see the pics either.
The store is called Sportsmans Guide in Minnesota. These pants are at their outlet because they don't carry enough of them to offer on line or in their catalog. If your interested PM me. They also carry gun holsters and such that you can see on their site www.sportsmansguide.com

Must be some problems with Blogger's image hotlinking. Try copying and pasting the URL.

My pants arrived today and they are pretty nice. I love the button fly and the material seems as if they would take some abuse. All in all a great deal, many thanks to Inexpensive Jones.
