Can the difference between the Seal Brown goatskin and Dark Brown goatskin from FS be accurately described in words, or do I need pictures to help me "see" the difference.

I have their Deerskin, but it, when I got it, was more of a "russet" brown instead of I would call a Seal brown.....the older version of their goatskin I have is much darker brown than the deerskin, so are these accurate representations of the Seal and Dark brown coloring?

Thanks, y'all!

then that would, indeed, make my Deerskin the Dark brown...it's the best match to your description. And the goatskin I currently have would be the Seal brown....

Thanks alot, man!

The Expedition on the left is dark brown lambskin. My deerskin jacket is a 1/2 shade lighter (dark brown). The pictures that I saw of West's deerskin made it look seal brown to me. The Expedition on the right is the old seal brown goatskin. The sample in the middle is what the seal brown goatskin jackets today are made from. The two G-1's are dark brown goatskin. Even though there is a slight difference in shade between the two, the digital camera shows the color difference more than it is in actuality. Cheers

As _ breaches out of the sea a raspy voice from a distant clipper ship can be heard ever so softly...

I realize our monitors will allow each of us to see hues and shades a bit differently.

That said, regarding Rundquist's FIRST photo, my dark brown Expedition lambskin looked like the color of the jacket on the left side and my SEAL chrome goat Expedition was the color of the jacket on the right; neither matched the swatch placed in the middle of them.

Just my experience and monitor.

Whoa, I guess I don't know my left from my right. I had two different descriptions for jackets "on the right". I've since fixed my post. Sorry for the confusion.
