This point has been beat more than the proverbial dead horse. I've made enough Indy whips using natural tan as well as other whipmakers will agree. That picture in your screen grab is natural tan. No mistake about it either. They might've gotten a slight shade mellower with a couple of years. Also that was a shadowy picture grab and doesn't show the whip well at all. The point is Morgan supplied natural tan whips. His emphasis is that only color. Many folks ask me if I will make a darker brown that I sell on my website. I will sell and have made 2 tone Indy whips. It doesn't matter if you want a green Indy style, but if you want to be screen accurate you MUST go with a natural tan. Whiskey or saddle tan is fine if you want a darker color. I have no problem with that. I like Gio's whip too. He is getting better with the more whips he's made. I am glad that he's able to supply more people on here with his whips. They are well priced and seem affordable for what you get.

I would like this dead horse to quit getting whipped on, but it never will as there are new people who sign in everyday on COW. Young and inexperienced people will buy whips and beat themselves with marks on their backs, faces, arms or wherever. Its all part of the learning process.
I think its pretty neat to see so much international interest in the Indiana Jones mystique. I have sold many many whips to Europe with most going to Denmark. Many have gone to England, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and even one to Japan. It amazes me of the interesting people who contact me from all over the world.

In fact a prop master from a London production of the Phantom of the Opera contacted me a couple of days ago to replace a worn out and very tired whip. It is intended for the "Slave Master".

Isn't that interesting?

Cheers,
Robert Duke

and now... the AB... Absolute Beginner... moi

Later on I passed the FOWIE (fear of whip in eyes  ) and started to crack loud sometimes (very rarely)...

then my dad arrived and wanted to try it...

and DARN HIM he was able to crack it really loud from the very first attempt and then cheekly said to me... I was a good observerer as a child when these were used much more than now

I also took some vids but without sound they don't give justice to the wonderful cracks he performed. Jammy Git!
