Cool Sword on eBay!

Post by Cooler King »

I was searching eBay for a new bowie knife when I came across an Indiana Jones bowie knife. What?! Yes, my same reaction. It's an Indiana Jones Khyber bowie knife with sheath: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 2150063515 very nice indeed. I went into a bidding war and ended up paying $52.00 total but I'm hoping it's worth it. Reason it went so low was because the auctioneer had it misslabled "Indaina Jones". Just call me lucky! :D

I'd never looked into the Indy swords, I'm guessing it's officially licensed since I saw it at the Adventure Outpost at MGM Florida - $280 bucks new. Anyone ever own one of these?

Well, just thought I'd share, I'll let you guys know when it comes and wheater or not to be on the look out for one.

I used to carry these back in my knife-selling days. Not a great replica of anything, but a cool collectable. I like the style of it and it's a hefty piece. I also like the little story that comes on the box (about how Jones doesn't go anywhere without this bowie) . You got one helluva deal too! I'm sure you'll enjoy it, it's worth every buck you paid IMHO.

Kind regards,
Indy

You have a great sword at a great price.I own two of these and purchased them when they were first issued,I believe in 1991.They are made by united cutlery and are well crafted with great detail.I even purchased the wooden wall plaque display that has three mini metal movie posters of the three indy films and it also says"If adventure has a name,it has to be indiana jones".This plaque really adds to the appearance for displaying the sword.Enjoy.
