New (?) Indy pants from Orvis

Post by Kodiak »

I don't know of ya'll have seen these, but they look pretty good to me. According to the ad they are stronger weave (for the adventurous among you ) and will last longer . They are more expensive than the LL Bean dress chinos, but they might look better with the fabled Pearl Gray dye.

Good luck if you like them...

Orvis sells some top drawer stuff (no pun intended). Too bad these don't have the flaps on both back pockets, then they would be perfect.

Yea, Orvis has some great stuff. But if your looking for screen accuracy you could get a pair from Wested or Magnoli for about the same price.

:)

P.S. I'm still waiting for their cav twill pants to go on sale.

I agree with J_Weaver, if I was to buy from Orvis I'd get the Calvary Twill pants; the price is just outrageous.

They don't have flaps on both pockets? Sorry, I must have missed that. I thought they looked pretty good, but for screen accuracy and even general wear, they need flaps on both. I hate those little buttons...

Here is a cut and paste from their pocket description.

Side-seam pockets, one plain rear and one button-through flap pocket.
