My lifesize Indy display mannequin is finally complete!

Post by Chris_King »

Hello everyone,
I installed the life-size display bust onto my costume mannequin today and was thrilled with the results. It's been a few years in the making but the end is truly in sight now! I've just got to weather all the clothing and I'll be happy!

Check it out:

WOW  looks GREAT! I would expect to see something like that at Planet Hollywood or a wax museum! Is that the hat that you are selling on ebay, or the one that fits? It looks a tad large...even though, this is one of the coolest things I have seen, truly an achievement!

Did you have the hands custom done too? Very impressive. How much do you charge for admission? Just kidding!

Chris,

That just kicks ###! I had put a mannequin together with PVC and it was just too freaky standing there all the time - plus it took up much needed space so I took it apart. (The real reason is that it looked better in my gear than I did  )

Yours is just uncanny! Harrison Ford may be getting old in the tooth, but he will live forever now. Thanks for posting!

Impressive! Now I think I understand the reason behind the hollowed out lower portion of the bust (so it could be placed atop of the mannequin.)

Not many folks would go through all that time, trouble, and expense. My fedora (beat-up stetson) is off to ya. :)
