1. Yesterday morning, I received a large, lightweight box containing my brand new AB beaver, with the "Idol Grab" bash. What a beautiful hat! Fits like a charm, I love the width of the brim (I sent Steve a picture so he could see the shape of my face). Just a great piece of work.
2. At noon, I met Indiana_Tone for lunch. We got to compare our jackets and hats -- he just got a new goat Wested and an AB, and I had just received my new AB. We talked jackets, hats, etc. I think he's talked me out of distressing one of my jackets
3. When I got back to my office after lunch with Indiana_Tone, there was a big box from New Zealand, containing my latest shipment from Indy Magnoli. Various items, including a Raiders notebook, Raiders relics and a few other things, but more impressively, a Sankara Stone AND the Cross of Coronado. Once again, incredibly beautiful stuff and a great addition to my collection. Of course, the Cross of Coronado "belongs in a museum," but I'm thrilled to have it.
Sorry to include non-fedora stuff in the post, but the great day STARTED with the new AB -- maybe it brought me luck!
