Just got back from a few days in Yosemite. Hiked among the giant Sequoia and up at Glacier Point. Here are some pictures starting...

Excellent pictures and the hat and gear looks great! I love seeing people out in the field. The cliff picture is my favorite! It's good to see Adventurebilt owners getting out there.

You know, it still gives me chills when I see one of my hats in scenic locations. I guess I will never get over that.

Sometimes, I almost pinch myself just to make sure this is not a dream, and I am not still back in the day when I could not find a decent looking Indy fedora. I love seeing these sort of pics. Thanks! Fedora

You're telling me, Bink! I wasn't quite at the edge because I was already freaking out by being where I was. I was hoping a sudden wind wouldn't come up and blow my AB off my head. ;-)

Awesome pics, It looks like you had a great trip.your AB looks better everytime I see it

The best pic is the one where your standing by the cliff, very cool

Id be scared to death standing as close as you were, Id be afraid of loosing my AB to a gust of wind.

No, that was somwhere near the California coast with the coastal redwoods. The sequoia is a different species than the coast redwood. The sequoias are much bigger, but the coast redwoods grow a little taller. I think the Endor scenes were made here in Marin County, but I'm not sure. I know for sure that the motorcycle chase scene in Last Crusade was made a couple of miles from where I live in Lucas Valley, near George's Skywalker Ranch.

Since you live near Skywalker Ranch, do you know what they are using it for now that all the Lucasfilm companies have relocated near the Golden Gate bridge?

He has two places here, Skywalker and Big Rock Ranches. They are used for lots of things, like post production on films, video games and many other Lucas projects. I think George has about 30 or 40 different companies that do various things. By the way, this valley, Lucas Valley, was not named after George, but John Lucas, who was a rancher and owned all of this land in the 1850s.
