405 width size question

Post by Raider_Sergio »

I own a pair of 405s with the standard D width, size 11 1/2. so the shoe looks very pointy in my opinion and they fit like a size 12.

I want to go up a width size to an E and down a 1/2 size.
Would this make the look of the shoe less pointy?

Also does anyone know what width size Harrison wore?

Thanks guys

I'm not sure I understand your problem but I will see if I can answer.

My understanding is that the 405 does fit large so a 1/2 size down may not be a bad idea - you do need to be careful with the width, too wide and your riding in a very sloppy shoe which will give no support and not to mention a huge waste of money. Too narrow and your in for a breaking in adventure you'll never forget. If the pointy toe is your only concern, remember - once these babies soften up and break in they will shape to your foot and should look normal.

Enjoy your 405's

Please don't ask me how I know this, but Harrison's 405 was 11 1/2 "B".

Ya know I was wondering the same thing.
Size B is narrow!!

On screen those clonkers look more like an E width, thats
why I was asking.

Well you know what the big screen does to you. It adds 15 lbs. and extra size width to your feet. :-)
