I was having a convo with Jpevh the other night on MSN, and we ended up talking about Dorfman Pacific's Indy hats. While the reaction to them around these parts is usually not very favorable, I showed Jpevh some pics of some other people that had their picture taken "as Indiana Jones", to illustrate a point. It can get worse than a Dorfman-Pacific.
Case in point:

! This guy would look pretty good, actually, if it weren't for that hat.
Oh yeah, dude. Oh yeah.

Now, this is one of the best Temple of Doom lids I've seen outside of Indy Gear. You can actually book this guy to show up at a party.
You see Indy? You see!?
We might not like Dorfmans, but hey, it could be much worse.

I swear I'm not concieted, but wandering through Comic Con, seeing the other Indy's there, and their gear, I thought the exact same thing.

Oh, I just LOVE how the belt matches the handbag and the pant legs. Ooo, and the leopard print hatband is to DIE for. This is accessorizing at its best.
I’m sorry. I’ll go whip myself with a long screen accurate white rope.
OMG!!!! Where do these people come from? The little kids are pretty cool. I think most of us younger Indy fans have been there. But for crying out loud, some of these people aren't even in the ballpark.

That is one of the funniest things I've read today!
The most important thing is, these people are having fun, so more power to 'em. I'm all for stuff like that. My point was just to illustrate that it can actually get worse than Dorfman Pacific when folks are rooting around in their basement for anything that comes close to reminding them of Indiana Jones.
 Thats when those COW calling cards you talked about in the other thread would come in handy........ Strider: Uh, here why don't you try this website and we'll see you again next year.

Beat the ever loving snot out of it. See how it has a shine to it? It's that beat up, and shines.

I just noticed the 4th guy down has a ribbon on his badge. Is he a WINNER? I'm gussing not as the girl in green walking by in no costume has one too, but then again the Klingon doesn't have a ribbon. Hmm...mysterious.
