New Lucky Charm Lighter
I just received my new Lucky Charm Lighter from Relic Raider.
He has a several different versions and took a lot of time to explain the various options to me.
I selected the Vintage style Metal-Resin Hybrid badges, Bright White, with a Urethane Resin Coating and Satin Finish.
Apparently, I am the first to order this particular style (/option combo).
Notes:
It is noticeably heavier than other lighters I have, however, I feel this gives it a more substantial feel and adds to its distinctiveness.
I am really happy with the results.
Here are some pics:

P.S.> Thanks again, K.P. !

Spooky, I'm happy you like the Zippo.
In case anyone wonders, the following picture clarifies the the difference between the regular #200 and the #200 Vintage style badges:
The #200 Vintage style badges have a wider metal edge and a more rounded-off design than the regular #200 badges.
Cheers,
-K.P.

That is one GOOD LOOKING LIGHTER, Spooky!
Man, Relic Raider does some nice work!
Yep - I know exactly what you meanIndiana_Tone wrote:::sigh:: (reaches into pocket, withdraws wallet......PMs Relic to order; wonders why money just isn't as abundant after joining Club Obi Wan.)
Just wait until you hear that little voice telling you that you have to go and purchase a traditional Gladstone bag (TOD) ... $$$

"... daily use?"
I must confess - I originally started carrying around lighters after I saw Castaway (Tom Hanks, no way to make fire, yadda yadda) ...
Then, once I started collecting - I liked flicking them open for (smoking) friends and various people/occasions.
The Relic Raider Lucky Charm is by far the coolest in my collection.
That lighter (and new avatar) looks COOL! Man alive. How much did it cost? I'd like to get me one of those, too, just to have on my person, because you never know when you're going to have to burn ropes off, or start a fire as a diversion. Oh..and occasionally lighting a cigarette for a good looking woman.

The metal-resin and resin-resin hybrid badges for the 1941 Replica already have the wide metal edges and the rounded-off corners:Zach R. wrote:Is this same option available for the 1941 replica zippo?
For more images, please check my site. The link is under my post.
Price of badges and lighters depends on the badge version and lighter model. You can find prices on my website.Strider wrote:That lighter (and new avatar) looks COOL! Man alive. How much did it cost? @spooky: daily use: I must confess: YES, I'm a smoker and that's why I LOVE Indy-lighters (the Zippo, and also got 3 IMCO-lighters like the one Marion uses in the Raven Bar).
And it's a nice piece to talk about because I've noticed that people (not Indyfans) and impressed by the Clover-Zippo and then I tell them what it is and where I got it from.
Since I have this wonderful piece of (smoking) art I don't use normal lighters anymore. And it's ggod to have a lighter with you because even as a non-smoker you never know what you could need it for (survival equipment, for the guys: give a lady fire like a real gentleman, ...).

My youngest daughter, date_eating_monkey, is another rabid Alien fan as well. Her avitar is the queen Alien wearing a fedora that our old buddy Rabittooth made for me. She'll think your avitar is, as she says, 'THE BOMB!!!"Spooky wrote:Yep, she still needs her obedience classes.Relic Raider wrote: ...Spooky's avatar almost bit me!

My own poor Queenie's days are numbered ... tick, tock, tick, tock.
P.S.> Everytime I look at your avatar I want to hit it in the forehead with a big white walking stick ...

I have one of the leather zippo pouches and because of the added bulk of the badges its not even thinking about fitting. so Ive just ended up putting it in my left pocket with nothing in there.

Re: Queenie
Yes - I stretched it with my thumb and fingers over the course of a couple of hours (while watching tv). It may depend on the version of belt holder you have, but just looking at it - I knew mine was sturdy enough to stretch & not tear out the threads ... let me know if you'd like a pic, WolfPit.WolfPitWhips wrote:do they fit in there?

Hey, wait a minute ... (GULP) ... could it be?
Oh my ... I've abandoned the purer faith without thinking .. and actually distressed a piece of clothing (not Indy gear exactly- but close enough) ...
