Looking good Elodie!

You've had the jacket for just over 6 months, it looks nicely worn in... is that normal wear or did you give it some 'help'.

KT

BTW just being nosy what does it say on the inside of those web belts?

Is that the lamb hide in authentic color? I guess it's just the lighting, (unless it's another color than authentic) but that's the best looking Raiders match I've seen! Seems like in every one else's photos the Westeds look chocolatey brown color. It also looks well warn and "thin" as Indy's does at times. I can't get over how great that looks.

Great pics elodie!

Doc, that may be authentic brown goat! It reminds me of my auth brown goat Wested.

Nice jacket. I was looking at the rest of your Indy collection in your photo album, and it is enviable. What I'm wondering most is: how did you afford all that stuff? You must have a very generous family. Nobody can accuse you of not being a true Indiana Jones fan, that's for sure. :D

Anyone else find themselves looking at these pictures of the jacket and thinking, "Man, that's a great looking fedora!"
My thoughts exactly.

I can't tell if the jacket is goat or lamb... either way, Wested did another great job, as usual.

Elodie, is that a Raiders jacket or Temple of Doom?

Indiana_Tone wrote:Great looking jacket, Elodie! It's really broken in well for only a few months. Looks like either a goat in authentic brown; or if it's the goat in dark brown it makes a heck of an argument for the dark brown jackets. (The inside pocket looks like the authentic brown color but I can't see Wested mixing the two for trimming.)
That's true, it does look like its different from the outside.

Elodie: Great jacket and pics. The gear fits you well. Is the Jacket a TOD style? It looks about as dark as mine almost verging on being black. Where is the whip from?

Cheers!

Great jacket and great gear. The jacket fits you quite well and the color is great: very rich and dark. You did a very nice job with the fedora as well; it looks nicely broken in, as do those shoes.

Thank you very much !!!

THE LEATHER JACKET
It's the Raiders style. I take everything like in "Raiders of the Lost Ark"
Not the jacket already used.

Style - Raiders jacket
Leather - Dark brown lambskin
Lining - Coton (cotton silesia)
Side Fastener - Anodised black Rectangular Silver (Buckle)

http://www.wested.com/frjacket.html

If my jacket look good, is maybe because, I sleep with it

THE SHIRT
The raiders shirt
http://www.wested.com/indyjacket/indyshirt/

THE HAT
The Raiders hat.
"Indy Fedora - white linings"
http://www.indyfedora.com/shop/index.html

How I pay all my collection ?
I don't drink, I don't smoke, and I don't go in night club. I know I am strange.
So, all the money that I got from my work, is for my collection.
The jacket is my only Christmas gift.
For the books, comics, toys, etc... I buy things from sellers, so it's not new. It's more accessible for me.

Canyon, yes, the girls can too have a look like Indiana Jones !

I hope I don't forget to answer...

I may have to try the dark brown lamb in a Raiders jacket if I ever get a Wested! Looks great in these pictures!

Might have to try the sleeping in the gear trick. ;)

Good choice, Elodie. Indy gear is much healthier than smoking, drinking and partying all night. :D Plus, you can use all that money for gear as you have!

Dang, when I am the only strange person here? (As I smoke pipe sometimes ... and a glass of whiskey is good company, so there you have the drink).

But I appreciate girls with moral, yes I do.

You all seem to be much better people than me ... :? 8-[

Nothing strange about being a decent person. We are all strange in one way or another to one another. It's called character. It is what makes you the person you are. And unfortunately most people in the world don't possess this trait. It is not what is inside that makes the person but their deeds. Elodie seem like a fine young lady that has her head on straight with a pretty healthy hobby.

Anyway, Elodie, the gear looks great, and you're no stranger than the rest of us. Enjoy your hobby and yourself.

Cheers!

@Elodie: VERY nice jacket and you look FANTASTIC in it; I like this "girlie" version of the Indy shirt!

@Jens: "You and I are very much alike. We have always done the same kind of work. Our methods have not differed as much as you pretend. I am a shadowy reflection of you. But it would have taken only a nudge to make you the same as me, to push you out of the light." 8)

Oh, and just to set the record straight, I am not saying that any of the COW menbers lack in character. I think most of you would agree that we're all a bunch of characters. Enjoy the journey my friends.

And I was going to wait for an Indy 4.

Nice jacket and gear. You've obviously gone to some effort to get the measurements right to compliment you, I like how you've interpreted the outfit in your own way, but still remain true to the original. Nice one kid

Elodie, the pics look great! Did you ask Wested to make you a jacket in the female pattern or did you just give them your measurements and order a standard one?

Wow Elodie. Amazing...beautiful. Oh yeah, the gear looks good too . Your hat looks like it has a good layer of adventure dust to it (something my Adventurebilt's still lacking). Your jacket also looks good. I really like the Wested and was also very pleased when I got a Raiders jacket last Christmas. I also like your posters in the background. I hope someday there will be a Star Wars costuming forum as good as this Indy forum.
