Again, welcome to COW and future financial ruin. Just kidding. :D Best wishes to you.

Many thanks to all for the warm welcome!! I've been reading the forum discussions for a few weeks now and I have to say that Indy gear collecting must be very addictive. About two days after ordering the AB, I also had to get me a pair of Indy boots from Alden's{my wife is going to kill me}. I have many hours of overtime to put in at work now lol.

Welcome on board. A good choice to begin with. The boots are terrific - original Indy-gear and the best boots I've ever had too. Remember the photo-thing... :D

Cheers

Welcome Marco!

Did you know that in the Novel "Indiana Jones and the Dinosaur Eggs" this Mongolian warrior Khan had the idea that Indy could be areincarnation of Marco Polo...

And don't forget:

Guys and Dolls... we're just a bunch of crazy guys and dolls...

Could anyone explain this Marco ... Polo! - joke to me please?

It's a game played at a swimming hole. I don't remember much but one person is "it" and has to close their eyes and yells Marco . . . others yell Polo, that's as far as I can remember before I start to sink.

Best,
Herr Jones

Correct. The person with closed eyes yells 'MARCO', the other players in the pool yell 'POLO', and the person with closed eyes trys to find one of the other players by the sound of their yells. Sort of a blind man's game of tag, if you will. Old pool game. Regards! Michaelson

The problem with that game is that it relied on the honor system, and my brother would always cheat! :x
I was wondering how long it would take for someone to bring this reference up.
And welcome to the board Marco! :D

Thanks again for the welcome!! I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark many moons ago and decided that I wanted to become an archaeologist ,but my old dad said "Son, why do you want to go somewhere and dig in the dirt all day? GET A TRADE!" So I became a lab tech , lol. You guys are great ! By the way, Tone , I'm sure I'm not the first but you sure look like that Jones guy...
