Flask for the MK VII

I found that my pilot's survival flask fits absolutely perfectly into the inside pocket of my MK VII (WPG repro, not an original).

They are pretty cheap, too, at about $2.50.

Not quite as sharp as a leather-covered flask mentioned a few threads ago, but holds a full pint instead of a few ounces.

By all means, water only!

Anything else should be kept in the leather-bound flask, and also kept handy (for medicinal purposes, of course).

Wouldn't using it for (yeeeuch!) water make it a canteen and not a flask?

Indy's got a canteen in his bag in the ol' Emperor's Tomb game. Come to think of it, he's got a LOT in that bag in the game.....

A flask may be a better route as it's smaller. Nice idea.

He's also got two guns in his holster most of the time.
I don't know, but I wouldn't even be able to put a broomhandle in mine, let alone a broomhandle plus a webley that looks like a colt...

Technically it is a canteen. They are a standard piece of gear in military pilot survival kits and are designed to fit into the pockets of a survival vest. I "appropriated" one out of our kits in '97 and have carried it ever since. They are tough as blazes.

I think they just call it a flask due to its shape, which is slightly curved to lay better against your body in the survival vest, but it is intended for water.
