SALE on Aldens at The Shoe Mart!!!!

Hey everyone,

I thought I would pass this info along. The Shoe Mart in Norwalk, CT is having a January Clearance Sale. According to Alden, they are the only store that gets shipments of the irregular 405s. In fact, this is where I bought mine.

NOTE: I don't know whether they have any 405s irregular or otherwise in stock, however, it may be worth a call to them to find out.

Is an irregular 405 just a 405 in an uncommon (or less common) size?

Now I'm annoyed. I was in the greater Norwalk area last week and had specifically called them to see if they carry the 405s and they said they didn't. I would have bought a pair. Now I'm back in Washington where there isn't even a shoe dealer that carries Aldens, never mind the 405s.

Sorry for the slow reply, I have been out of town.

An irregular is a shoe with a cosmetic defect that makes them not able to be sold at full price.

And Shoe Mart doesn't always have them in stock. It is possible they didn't have any when you called. It could be worth a call to make sure.
