This looks to be the one. Can't see if there are two seams coming down to the wrist.

And how about this Jose? Looks like the store you saw the other day is THE only Wells Lamont facility other than Canada. Right here in our own backyard. :)

Alright gloves time !!

here we go, I ran into two walmarts today and bought out all their 1130's...I have four pairs up for grabs, this is without the reinforced palm, with the updated glove seams as discussed above...not the old (correct) way though.

Anyhow, we can't be choosers now a days anyway, not with the onset of these reinforced palms stuff !

So the price is ten dollars a set (comes out to 9.12 after tax...if you have beef with the .78 cents mark up, I am sending Rio after you...and you don't want to know the Rio...lol...)

that is the price BEFORE shipping...I think it should be fairly cheap to ship so what's say two dollars for shipping ? Fair enough ?

So, there, 12 dollars shipped. Now, I won't be able to ship until friday, I have a business trip to Iowa beginning tomorrow, some in some instance, I may not even be able to check who responded first...so please, don't be put off if I don't respond ASAP.

Anyhow, here's what I got for grabs for today :

1. 1130 XL

2. 1130 L

3. 1130 M

4. 1130 M

I hope this helps some people on the COW, I hope to run into some more in my trip to IOWA ! Wish me luck...no really...I am going to Iowa for god sake !!!! :)

Ken; Have you tried soaking a pair of M sized ones in water and then drying them on a radiator, or even in the tumble dryer? I did this with my pair that were a bit long in the fingers, and they came out softer and more fitted. Just an idea if you haven't tried it yet...

I actually did that with a size small I had from a few years ago. The problem was while it worked fine on the hands of the gloves themselves, the cuff og the glove shrunk disproportionatly to the rest of them so they look more like Han Solo's gloves in ESB as they dont really have any cuff.

I wonder what would happen if one just soaked part of the fingers?

With that avatar it's hard to know when you're kidding...I read that three times trying to figure out why I was missing the punchline... :)

Yeah, you're right, that SHOULD work.

That photo comparison helped me understand it better. Now I know that I have the 2nd generation 1130s.

OK, clear something up for me: what is the difference between the 1st generation 1130, and the 1123? Here are my 1123's ....I cant see any difference, but Im not the expert...?

Is it the horizontal seam near the thumb??

A couple more things to throw into the mix, do we know when each glove was produced? It could be the 1130 was not even produced during the filming of Raiders.... The 1123 is an older glove....(I think).

Remember the trim color denotes the size, now. I think one of the sizes has a trim that matches...I think green is small?

If there is a size that matches in color, depending on how dedicated to accuracy you are, buy your size and the other one, and then switch the trims. Yeah, a lot of sewing, but Todd apparently makes his own to match the color.
