Vintage Military pants-35-36's STILL AVAILABLE 11/9

Post by antiquity collector »

Anybody else interested. I've stumbled across some more 34's. Possibly some larger (I'll update again when definite).

Here is a pair of pants I picked up in a surplus store. They have the accurate pocket flaps, button down front and double pleat.

http://public.fotki.com/antiquitycollec ... age_pants/

Size in pic is a 38? and is unhemmed.

Size listed is actual waist measurement taken as they are not marked in U.S. size. They say 34 on the inside though while the larger size says 27(go figure).

Names highlighted are confirmed purchases.

1) Bink 36" 36's purchased
2) Gobler 38-40" pair found that should fit you
3) Repairman Jack 32-33" 34's found (should work out nice)
4) Indy Jess 36"
5)Skipbeau 34/30 34's purchased
6) WConly 34/30 34's purchased
7) Mr. Bill 34-36" 34's found if you want them
8) Indy Guybrush 34/34
9) Agent5 36
10) DKWD 38's

I'm going to go back again as the owner now knows I'm looking. He said he'd check the back but doubted anything smaller.

Please respond so I can mark you off if you want them or they get offered to the next person on the list. AC

I believe they were about $30. I was in there picking up gear for a Kim Possible costume for the wife for Halloween when I stumbled on these.

There might be more if I really search the store. Anybody interested?

Do you know what kind of fabric they are made out of? Looks like a super find. Good work.

I'm not sure what the fabric is. There's no info on them besides the big 34 on the inside waist.

It was a thought. But I had my Indy gear all ready to go last year and not only did I run out of time (too many pumpkins to carve) but it rained so no get together to go to. So I'm just doing completion stuff to my gear (distressing, pecarding and color alterations to the strap, holster and boots.

Since I worked on Kim doing storyboards I had all the model sheets to go by for her costume. Found a great belt and camo pants that look perfect. I'll get picks up soon when it's complete.

Well, I would if I fit into 34's. I bought these more for reference and display alternatives as I'm trying to complete outfits for all 3 films.

I'm in the process of sculpting my own Harrison likeness to go on a mannequin I'll have produced to his measurements with moveable arms.
This way Ican either have all 3 on display or just rotate them. It depends on the deal I get for the mannequin(s).

Sorry to double-quote the same thing, but I had a different thought about this - I would have offered to buy the 34's once you said they didn't fit you (my size), but you explicitly picked that size for an HF-scale mannequin? (HF-scale sounds like a new size of tyco trains...)

That's odd...I knew I was an odd build, but had no idea...34 waist, but a 44R jacket...no wonder Gerry at Wested said GLAD YOU MENTIONED THAT...

Sorry, don't look for a pair for me. Got something useful here for now. All I was wondering is - is the HF size supposed to be 34 for your mannequin?

Indiana Jess, I think HF was about a 34 in Raiders though I should probably get 36 pants. I think he was probably 36 wearing 38's in Temple since he looks a little thicker (due to the back surgery?)

It depends on the mannequin I go with and how each looks on it.

Kilgour and Bink, you guys are starting to scare me. With this little tidbit of information now I know they won't be able to tell us apart. Wait ... Canyon said you guys have rugged GOOD looks. Ok I've just got rugged looks (which is a nice way to say I look like I've been dragged behind a truck for a few miles)

Debonaire action man appeal? Are you sure Canyon hasn't mixed you two up with some other Bink and Kilgour?

Jeez, I came in very late on this one. I'd love a pair if you have the means to do all of this. I certainly would appreciate it greatly. I take a 36 waist, unhemmed if possible, but if not I'd like the longest length available to have them hemmed propperly at 3-4".

If you're able to do it I'd be happy to Paypal if you want immediate payment or I can send whatever you'd like.

Thanks again for offering. :D

I tied my better twin up in the basement once. I highly recommend it

Unfortunately, I left him with his gear on and he managed to burn through the ropes, and burn down my secret headquarters under the Dairy Queen all at the same time. Curse you Chucklehead Jones!

I managed to get to the store today but ran out of time. Place was so unorganized that I'm going back tomorrow or Sun. to ravage the place. I'll need some good time in there to find any more. Then I'll go down the list and sort out which goes to whom.

Added pics of them on as I found some larger sizes hidden away in an odd place in the back (maybe I wasn't supposed to be there but hey, what the heck).

Click on link above to see.

Put your name on the list as you might be lucky enough to get some even if you're last.

OK, Picked up what I could find to match requests. Let me just sort them out and I'll post the confirmed list.

Then I'll go to the post office to find out shipping. It should be about $6. I'll be specific to each when I receive everyones addresses.

Most everyone is in luck as I dug around and found a decent amount.

NOTE: I believe pants are slightly bigger than stated. They are not U.S. so I'm going by my measurements. I tried on a pair that were supposed to be 37's and they fit (I normally go anywhere between 36-40 in U.S. depending on the maker). You can always have them taken in a bit otherwise I think the slight bagginess should work out fine.

SEE TOP POST FOR WANT LIST

I'm going to go back again as the owner now knows I'm looking. He said he'd check the back but doubted anything smaller.

Please respond so I can mark you off if you want them or they get offered to the next person on the list.

If they have any "big boy" sizes left, please let me know, if it's not too late.
Size 40-42 would be great.
