Something to think about: color basics
This may be painfully obvious to some, but I just realized that Indy’s basic color scheme follows this simple pattern: dark shoes, pants lighter than the shoes, and shirt lighter than the pants. If you were assembling an outfit of “close enoughs”, then you couldn’t go wrong using this system. This could even be used if you wanted to vary “the look” a little. Keep in mind that you must also keep the jacket and hat as dark as or darker than the pants (without resorting to black in my opinion, unless that’s what you really want).

It's interesting you should mention this. I was recently thinking about how cool a set of gear would look in grey scale. Same shades and materials...just at grey scale, like the clothing only was in a black and white movie:
That's Chris King's display I took the liberty of messing with there to show you what I mean.
Pretty neat huh?

Rab, on The Raven they're having a debate on Uncle George and Uncle Steve and if they're going to change the "look" of Indy's Gear.
Folks should see that pic you altered.

Actually, the kid who played Short Round is now a martial artist and fight coordinator for feature films.I still say Jet Li needs to play Short Round. That'd kick all kinds of #$%&*!!
I've said for a while that they should get him to come in to reprise his role to lend a hand to the action required for the audience, while accomodating an aging Indy, who's most likely put on THOUSANDS more miles since we last saw him in Last Crusade, (or Birth of the Blues for that matter.)
