Re: Timberlands

I just retired a pair of Euro Hiker Boots after 20 years - okay didn't wear them for a couple of years in between and I wore them mainly for garden chores over last few years. I always imagined the Bat Cave to look sleeker. Or is this just the workshop area? ;)

Did you get the mattresses aswell?

Would a joke about "whipping up some action" be in the right thread here? :-k :CR:

Re: KotCS Backpack (UPDATED thread on Germany Army Rucksack!

You can buy these straps and the quick-release-buckles separately, shouldn't be a problem. Try eBay or your local outdoor store.

@Tundrarider: I'm afraid that website is German-only, they don't offer any other languages. But even for Germans, I think its a PITA to navigate...

Folding sleeping mats can be found here: http://www.raeer.com/shopexd.asp?id=30356. They are the original version used by the German army and are not very comfortable IIRC.

Re: Wested Indy Trousers

How do you guys care for the Wested Indy trousers? Do you send them to the cleaner's or hand wash them yourselves? In the latter case: do they need ironing after line-drying?

Wested's leather holdall travelbag

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone on the forum owns one of the leather holdall travelbags sold by Wested Leather. If so: are they any good?

Thanks for any information.

Re: Let´s Give Indy A Knife to use...

I've never seen Indy as a knife-person, as he carries a gun. I think a Buck folding knife would be just fine and it would easily fit inside his pockets.

Re: Wearing an updated Indy look...finally..

Good point. :D

But people seem to love the Aldens in all kinds of discussion boards. Although Indy has been one of my favourite movie heros, I never liked his shoes. Simple matter of taste. ;)

Re: Wearing an updated Indy look...finally..

Digging up an older thread here, but it's an interesting topic: I believe Indy's style is really classic in a way, so it's worth emulating. The pant's wouldn't actually suit me, somehow I think they are for older guys, let's say 50 and above (no intention of offending anyone here). So for myself, I ...
