Re: New nylon Tomek bullwhip
Here are some pics of the 7ft one Tomek was talking about. http://i50.tinypic.com/fem0pu.jpg http://i47.tinypic.com/35i3nuq.jpg http://i45.tinypic.com/2iiv2hf.jpg I've already got a todd's leather for "accuracy" so I wanted something a little different. It's chocolate brown with a rust bro...

Re: Wested Lightweight Raiders Jacket?
Ahh, it looks like a pretty nice jacket.
I've been sweating in my goat g&b here in Japan... (and it's still only spring).
I remembered this jacket, but the shipping is almost as much as the jacket to Japan.
Anyone know any other vendors that do a cloth indy-esque jacket?

Re: Hollowpond's REAL Indy jacket...
Well, the answer that works for ME is that I ordered a half inch longer than I normally would with an Indy jacket. (26" is perfect so I ordered 26.5" ) My thought process was this...if i wear it unbuttoned, which so far I have the most, it would dangle sort of low ala Willis's surrogates ...

Re: Hollowpond's REAL Indy jacket...
How're the sleeves supposed to fit with this jacket? They can be cuffed or uncuffed, right? So should the sleeve measurement be as if you were going uncuffed and to mid-hand?
Sorry if this is a dumb question. :p

Re: ....so which Indy jacket is your favorite?
If my finances allow this weekend I may pop down to Ueno to visit Ameyokocho (a street market/vendor area in Eastern Tokyo) and check out the only place close to me that sells the G&B.... They're expensive, but I'd like a look at the very least... And may end up with some more leather to wear.....

Re: New Indy Tablet Bag
Looks like a nice bag. But other than it being brown leather and mildly satchel shaped, not sure I'd agree strongly with it's name. :p I'd say the size of a real mark vii probably wouldn't quite fit a netbook. You might be able to slip it in but it'd stick out a bit. Tablet/ipad might fit depending ...

Re: Todd's Costume Indy Shirt
Thanks for the offer. I figured I probably could. However with international shipping, etc. It's probably more hassle than anything else. Shouldn't be too hard to fix myself.Puppetboy wrote:

Re: Land's End Canvas Crosby boot: A second look
I ordered a pair since they were so cheap and they arrived yesterday. They are very tight shoes, I ordered a size 12 before I read what Oildale said in his last post, I also have pretty wide feet. Since they are so cheap and 13's are sold out I decided to keep them and see if I could stretch em out...

I hope so. The other stuff I ordered was reasonably good. It did kind of put me off ordering the pants from there though.trdaggers wrote:The quality on the three I got a month ago was excellent. Maybe you got a bad fig, I mean shirt.

Re: Todd's Costume Indy Shirt
I ordered mine over December and had it arrive a few weeks ago with the whip I preordered. I assume that probably makes it the latest run, but I don't have anything to compare it to. Actually I was slightly disappointed with the quality. There are quite a few loose not trimmed threads (not such a bi...
