Update: the top right-hand hook on the right boot was bent out just now. Tried to be as gentle as I could bending it back, but it broke free. It's a bummer, but I don't use that hook anyway. The boots are wonderful otherwise. Very comfortable and they look great.

Well, I've been wearing mine for two days now. So far so good. A few lightly sore spots here and there, but not unexpected from breaking in a new pair of leather boots. No problems with any hooks or the laces.

How are the lace hooks?

No problem so far. I'm wearing mine at the office right now (although, I have a desk-job, not a job that has me on my feet most of the day).
