Re: Goat vs. Lamb Expedition Temperature Question

Cheers all for the feedback. It is greatly appreciated! :TOH: I did get a US Wings Antique Lambskin last December when they were on sale. The lambskin was very soft and light weight. It felt amazing on but unfortunately it was too short even though I went up a size as I really need the Tall. My wife...

Re: Goat vs. Lamb Expedition Temperature Question

Thanks for your replies Hollowpond and CM.

Summers would generally be pretty humid. I'll be happy with a jacket I can wear through the full spring and fall. Hoping for a bit of the summer was more wishful thinking. ;)

Goat vs. Lamb Expedition Temperature Question

It’s been just over two years since I got my first Indy jacket, my beloved TNO CS Cowhide jacket. It is for me perfect and I still love it. The only thing that has me wanting another jacket is I wish I could wear this one longer. Don’t get me wrong this is my every day jacket for late fall, winter a...

Thanks Michael. Good tip on shape of face. I recall reading about head shapes, ovals, long ovals etc. but wouldn't have thought about the face. I'm definitely tall and probably closer to round then thin. I'll check with the wife on face shape ;)

About 2 months for me from when I sent him pictures and measurements then some phone tag and movie work occupying him. So you are way ahead in that all your measurements are presumably finalized. Still be prepared for the longest 4-6 weeks of your life. :anxious:

I received my Nowak CS jacket about 5 days ago. Slightly different style to your Raiders but probably made within a week of each other. My side straps are equal distance from the pockets. In my case 3.5" but mine is a pretty big jacket compared to most. Best advice talk to Tony.

As the gentlemen above said, take measurements while wearing a jacket that fits you well. Tony did have me check a couple of the measurements and told me to take the jacket off, zip it up, lay it on the floor and measure seam to seam as it's easier to do when it's flat. Here's my expanded version on...
