Re: Tardy Sharing of New Gear!
Yes the boots from Todd's have small little problems but for the price and the way they feel it can't be beat. Your boots look nice Iam thinking of getting a second pair.

Quindy how well does the olive oil work at darkening the holster. I've never thought of using olive oil.

Just got my Todd's shoulder bag and strap. Both are nice looking and construction looks good. Todd's Costumes is a great place to do business. No complaints here. Just one question what is the string inside the bag for. Thanks again Todd's for your great service and products.

Re: My Bapty conversion!!!!!! (PICS)
Gunsmith, What did you use to shorten the barrel. Hacksaw, lathe? I have just bought a 1917 and Iam thinking about converting it to a Bapty. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

When you made the block did you measure your head exactly or do you add any extra to that measurement.

Thanks Nick, I will probably try cowhide to see if I enjoy braiding or have the necessary skill set to make a whip.

Re: rebashing a hat
Thanks for the information. Will some of these techniques work on some the Indiana Jones hats from the early to mid eighties, I have two that my father bought me unfortunately one hat was smashed by something and the local western wear store said they could not reshape it.

rebashing a hat
Is there a way I can reform the crown of an already formed hat. The hat i have has the teardrop shape on the crown. I want to reform to more of a Raider's style crown and pinch.
