And I forgot to mention, that I also got a Raiders jacket made by Tony last Christmas, and I will continue to wear it every chance I get, just wouldn't seem right to retire it. I don't think I will be able to wear it out in my lifetime and if I do, in the words of Tony, its only a jacket.

I just received a Nowak Raiders and I was looking at the jacket and I noticed that the where the pleat strap is attached on the stormflap side is 2" from the pocket, and the strap on the non storm flap side is only 1" from the pocket. Is this normal? I'm sure some of you Nowak owners could...

Rundquist, I read that you said the vintage goat is very thin and stiff. Would you still consider it to be durable as other goat hides? Do you think it will soften up some with wear? I ask this because the picture of you with Tony's jacket on looks to be draping quite nicely.
