Re: The Scoop on the New Whip-Basics Beginner DVD

Because I'm impressed by the Whip Basics DVD, I want to post my review! :) The first time I cracked a whip was in the summer of 2008. I intended to visit a convention as Indiana Jones. My victim was a cheap and non-quality whip from a riding supply. Everybody could say just by a glimpse that I have ...

Re: Midland Whips: Nylon, 8ft, 12plt.

@Gaucho Thanks! I'm no expert when it's coming to whips, this is my first one. As far as I know, there are no (great) differences between plaiting a nylon or a leather whip. If you mean this with your question, I'm not quite sure. Nevertheless I love this whip. A nice whip for neat and decent cracks...

Re: Midland Whips: Nylon, 8ft, 12plt.

@Soup
I can strongly recomment these whips. But up to now I just made some test cracks due to a great leak of time. ;) Next week, I think, I can say more about it...

Midland Whips: Nylon, 8ft, 12plt.

Yesterday, my first decent whip arrived! It's, as said in the title, an 8ft/12plt Raiders-nylon-whip from Midland Whips . I love this whip! It's a beauty, great workmanship, good service... http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn119/Phantom-der-Oper/Indy2008/Whip/Whip05a.jpg http://i302.photobucket.co...

That was about two weeks ago, in Xanten, an old, roman city in Germany.

Yes. you're right, Mulceber. With more curve on the sides the back looks much better. In the meantime I have changed some details and now I'm really happy with the result. A friend commented the picture on the right with "Hmm... It looks like a statute from the Easter Islands with a gag!" ...

My Henry arrived today, a 58.

There is nothing new I could say concerning the quality. :)

I just need to convince the backpart of the brim not be that curved. :whip:

A brilliant hat!

Thanks for correcting me, gwyddion.
I didn't know that the country you're calling from is important, too. May I should have checked it up, too. :oops:

Nevertheless, a call will help! I had a similar problem and a call could solve it. :)
