I love the whip I got from Gus. It cracks like a dream and has an impressive heft! I do like the look of the shellac but is definitely NOT a deal breaker. I almost don't want to shellac it since it looks so great!

Oh well. Guess I'll have to get another...

My whip just arrived a few days ago and it is awesome! I ordered it to these specs and its awesome! I'm relatively novice but I've owned two whips previously and this one out cracks both of them with ease!

I just ordered an 8 ft 12 plait natural made made like the one in this video! I can't wait! Well...I will wait, and I'm in no hurry...but man it'll be cool to have one of his whips!

I'm curios as well. Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly is a "cable core" whip? Is it as simple as it sounds? (In definition mind you, not craftsmanship).

I wish there was more whip use in the movie but other than that I thought the movie was absolutely fantastic!
