If you're gunna hang it, hang it on wide hangers (I prefer wooden ones) to help retain shape. Don't use thin ones, whether they be metal or plastic.

I would go with the 24 1/2. It's easier to use sizing tape to bring in a hat size if needed, than to have to buy a stretcher for one that's too small. Besides, ithe leather sweatband could shrink a little with use, so I wouldn't try to go as tight as possible.

I would say given the different offering prices, if that's a determining factor for you, I'd go with a Wested Novapelle for a KotCS look, but it all depends on what's important to you. I ordered one too. It was really between this and the black G & B goatskin. Finally decided that I'll probably still get the G&B eventually, but like the look of the leather on this jacket too much to pass it up... BUT... is the leather really good quality.. i.e. tough as nails...? I hope so...

I think Chimp stated that the sleeves on both of his jackets are the same length, which is why I questioned if he sent in shoulder measurements. If the shoulder seam is higher and the sleeve length is the same, it might account for the sleeves seeming shorter. I filled out the custom sizing section...
